There is a lot of distance for volunteers to cover at Newport on any given work project. NWS recently purchased a new 4-person UTV to help volunteers reach remote areas of the park more efficiently. Whether it is locating and transporting gear to downed trees on trails or hauling out bags of garlic mustard that we have pulled, volunteers can now devote all of their energy to the project at hand.
