The Annual Meeting of the Newport Wilderness Society will be held outdoors at the park Picnic Shelter on Saturday, July 31st at 9:00am. Coffee and baked treats will be provided by Kick Ash.
Along with reports from the NWS Board Executive Committee and park staff, new board members will be voted onto the board by a majority of the full membership present.
Most importantly, we will be honoring long-time Park Manager Michelle Hefty who retired in January after a 32+ year career at Newport SP.
All NWS members are invited to attend. Past NWS Board members are especially encouraged to join us to honor Michelle.
