Support Our Newport Songbirds

Newport has a very active bird feeding station and a newly-established songbird garden. They are located adjacent to the park office at the entrance to the park. These resources are supported and maintained by NWS volunteers and funding.

We would like to purchase some additional native plants, retractable hoses and sprinkler, and the cost of bird seed and suet cakes is not insignificant.

If you would like to help support this project, you may:

1) Securely donate on the NWS website. Write “SONGBIRD” in the comment line on the donation form.
2) Mail a check to NWS, PO Box 187, Ellison Bay, WI 54210. Write “SONGBIRD” in the memo line.

When you are next at the park, we invite you to quietly sit and enjoy the garden and feeder activity. Give the birds some time to adjust to your presence. It is a wonderful way to slow down and unwind.
